KOYO Bearing Cross Reference

Interchange KOYO (JTEKT) bearing part numbers to SKF, FAG, Timken, NTN or NSK equivalents. KOYO suffixes like 2RS (contact seals), 2Z (shields), R (rolled-cage tapered) and JR (case-carburized) map directly to the competitor's code — this chart lists the exact match. Send us the KOYO number and we'll pull the equivalent from Houston stock.

How the KOYO numbering system works

KOYO (now JTEKT) uses ISO 15 base numbers with straightforward suffixes. 2RS = two contact rubber seals (SKF 2RSH, FAG 2RSR, NTN LLU, NSK DDU). 2Z or ZZ = two steel shields. C3 = greater-than-normal internal clearance.

On tapered rollers, the JR suffix indicates KOYO's case-carburized J-series with SKF J2/Q-equivalent tolerances. R on spherical rollers is the reinforced roller set. MB on cylindrical rollers is a machined-brass cage; C3 and C4 follow ISO clearance conventions.
