Seals & O-Rings

A failed shaft seal is almost always how a bearing failure actually starts — contamination gets in, lubricant gets out, and the bearing follows within hours. TSB stocks radial shaft seals, oil seals, V-rings and bearing isolators in nitrile (NBR), Viton (FKM), silicone and PTFE, in both inch and metric, with single-lip, double-lip and spring-loaded designs for every shaft speed and pressure.

We cross-reference between SKF (CR / Chicago Rawhide), National, TIMKEN and Parker, and we stock metric oil seals from Harwal in the obscure overall widths that get specified into European equipment. For high-temperature, chemical, or food-contact applications we'll spec the correct elastomer rather than defaulting to nitrile.

On the O-ring side we carry the complete AS568 standard inch series plus the common metric sizes in Buna-N (NBR), Viton (FKM), EPDM, silicone, neoprene and PTFE / encapsulated constructions, as singles, bulk bags and complete service kits. Backup rings, X-rings (quad-rings) and custom-cut sizes are available on request.

Hydraulic rod and piston seals, wipers and back-up rings ship from stock for most common cylinder bores.
